What is Xero?
Xero is the definitive way to play S4 League. Running since 2020, chosen by the community, and actively developed. If you want to play S4 League, this is where you play.
Is S4 League still playable?
Yes. The official servers are gone but Xero is very much alive. Thousands of active players, ongoing development, and more content than the original ever had.
How do I start playing?
Create a free account, verify your email, download the launcher, and hit play. The launcher patches automatically. You can be in a match within minutes.
Is Xero free to play?
Yes. Every game mode, every map, no restrictions. You earn PEN by playing and can spend it on cosmetics. Premium features exist but are entirely optional.
Is there pay-to-win?
No. We removed everything that made the original S4 League pay-to-win. All costumes and weapons are cosmetic only. No damage boosts, no stat advantages. The only thing you gain from spending money is looking better than your opponent.

What are the system requirements?
Windows 10 or later (64-bit), a dual-core processor, 4 GB RAM, any DirectX 11 compatible GPU, and 4 GB of storage. Most modern PCs can run it without issues.
What happened to the original S4 League?
S4 League was developed by Pentavision and published by multiple companies. The first official shutdown came in 2021 when Aeria Games (Gamigo) closed the EU/NA servers. Valofe later attempted a relaunch which also shut down. Xero has been running independently since 2020, before and through all of it.
How is Xero different from the original?
Better in every way that matters. More game modes, better stability, no pay-to-win, modern anti-cheat, unlocked FPS, a new game UI, and a team that actually listens to its players. The core S4 League gameplay you love is preserved and improved.
