Burst Shotgun
• Moderate reduction in PUSH force.
Although the Burst Shotgun is meant to have stronger, more consistent PUSH force than the Revolver, further investigation revealed that its tuning is far greater than what we intended, so we are making that advantage less extreme.
Hand Gun
• Base damage increased from ~13.56 to 14.
• Moderate increase in PUSH force.
Now that the hit registration issues from the end of 2024 are resolved, we have decided to partially revert the Hand Gun's damage reduction. Its PUSH force will also be more noticeable, though it will still remain far inferior to that of other Gun-class weapons.
Plasma Rifle
• Extremely minor accuracy decrease.
Spark Rifle
• Minor accuracy decrease.
These accuracy changes seek to align the effective range of the burst-fire rifles with their automatic-fire counterparts. Although it may not make sense to weaken weapons that are already sorely underused, we strongly believe that they will continue to offer profound levels of firepower upon mastering them.
Rail Gun
• Increased movement speed from 0.8 to 0.9.
We now believe that it doesn't make much sense for Sniper-class weapons to feel as heavy as Heavy Guns, so we are establishing a new baseline for their movement speed. Cannonade will be treated the same after we investigate solutions to its buggy shooting behavior.
IMPORTANT: From this day, any change in a gun's movement speed will affect walking, shooting, reloading, and charging movement speed all at once. This ensures the smoothest possible transition between moving and shooting with them.
