No changes that would make it laggy, quite the opposite. Recently pushed out some changes that improves performance. But also make sure that hardware acceleration is enabled in your browser. Otherwise the website might be slightly laggy, due to the use of blur and animations.

i also experienced this in a cyber cafee close to my house, they have way more powerful hardware but i have no idea about the specifics, it lags on chrome too
