The vast majority of players don't use macros (90-95%).
Xero has been greatly optimized over time (300 fps and above), and players' equipment is increasingly powerful (240Hz monitor, Wooting keyboard, etc.).
It's just your ego talking. You've convinced yourself so much that you're a good player that as soon as someone performs moves you don't know, you say "Macro or tool." No, they just master mechanics that you don't.
Rather than stupidly saying "Macro," take an interest in how the game mechanics work and ask experienced players for advice. Every day, people tell me I use macros, but I'm not. I'm interested in the game's mechanics. I've been playing for 16 years, I'm a gaming fossil. Come learn instead of crying.
