Threads

We have just rolled out a new feature called Threads.
From now on, that is the only place to post any of the following:

  • 💬 Suggestions
  • 🛠️ Bug reports
  • ⚖️ Balancing suggestions for both Unlimited and Melee
  • 📷 Photos (any photos you took yourself, such as nature or pets, except for AI-generated/altered and NSFW content)
  • 🖼️ Artwork (any self-made artwork is welcome here, such as drawings or similar forms of digital art, except for AI and NSFW content)

Threads is in early development and still a work in progress.

I think it's worth laying out Katana's behavior differences between Unlimited and Melee. Currently in Melee...
- Recovery times for the Light Attack and Jump Attack are 50ms slower than Unlimited
- Movement distance on all attacks is about 10% slower than Unlimited.
- Heavy Attack critical hit is harder to land than in Unlimited.
- Heavy Attack hitbox comes out 100ms sooner than in Unlimited.
- Heavy Attack recovery time is 50ms faster than in Unlimited.
So if these behavior changes were brought into Melee, various buffs would be given to all attacks, which also get counterbalanced by having a slightly slower Heavy Attack. I'm curious to know just how hurtful that nerf would be (or how busted the other buffs are).

As stated in the recent patch notes, the move to merge Katana behavior from Unlimited to Melee has been postponed.
