Challenge Abuse

We want to address the recent concerns regarding challenge abuse.

An issue was identified that allowed certain challenges to be exploited in unintended ways.
This was not a recent occurrence and has been present for an extended period of time due to the complexity of the underlying system.

The issue has been fully resolved and safeguards have been implemented to prevent similar cases going forward.

Anyone who receives the message "Insufficient balance" on sign in should submit a ticket under the Account Help category for further instructions.

None of the people who abused exploits are truly banned. You just can’t sign in with negative balance, so I’m not sure what you mean with "getting banned when raising a ticket".

Only higher-ups see those kinds of tickets and can act accordingly.

They abused the system, punishment is deserved.

The only people "this affected" are people who knowingly exploited this. And the more they exploited it the more severe the consequences are. Deserved punishment, and anyone who can’t pay for the things they essentially stole always has the option to ask for the extreme punishment which is wiping the account state back to the first instance of exploitation.

it does not change a damn thing, this has nothing todo with doing the right thing, its either you pay for something everybody could have fallen for or you lose more items than just the ones i got by the bob, the buggy button

"xero team xero team, your button is buggy, i just got some event caps worth of 1000+ bucks for free"
